7 Questions and a Dream

As the designer and editor of the “7 Questions and a Dream” booklet, I had the privilege of working on a project to promote gender activism and German cooperation in Sierra Leone.

Created for the German Embassy in Freetown, this booklet presents seven thought-provoking questions that explore shared values and aspirations between Germany and Sierra Leone. I designed questions and visuals meticulously to ensure clarity, coherence, and accessibility, providing an engaging experience while respecting the integrity of the German Government’s branding.

Krio interviews were carefully translated and proofread by human rights activist Miatta Marke, ensuring both the accuracy and sensitivity of its content. In addition, it was translated into Braille by the Educational Centre of the Blind and Visually Impaired in Grafton, ensuring that the message of the booklet reaches as many people as possible.
Every aspect, from layout to typography, was thoughtfully executed to enhance the overall message.

“7 Questions and a Dream” is more than just a publication—it’s a meaningful contribution to fostering understanding and dialogue between our two nations.
